Mr. Andrew Stott: Getting Open Data Used

Almost five years has passed since Tim Berners-Lee made a TED audience chant “Raw Data Now”.  Since then a lot of data has been made Open.  However open data is only valuable if it is used.  In this interactive session Andrew Stott will review some real examples of the use of Open Data, what has made them successful or not, and draw some lessons on how cities and others can not only release Open Data but do so in ways which will stimulate and facilitate new, innovative uses of their data and so deliver value back to their citizens.
